Road Test: 2018 Buick LaCrosse Avenir

August 5, 2023October 21, 2018 by John Faulkner

Effortless power from the smooth V6 and a seamless-shifting transmission, good handling and a solid road feel make the 2018 Buick LaCrosse Avenir a very pleasant car to drive. The well-appointed interior is comfortable and welcoming. The 30 mpg EPA highway rating was encouraging, but we exceeded that number.

May 1, 2021October 16, 2018 by Larry Hall

The Lexus 2018 LC 500h hybrid luxury grand tourer is deadly gorgeous, unworldly comfortable and blessedly fun to drive. If that’s not enough to get your attention, how does 35 mpg highway and 26 mpg city sound?

March 24, 2024October 15, 2018 by John Faulkner

Flash Drive: 2019 Jaguar I-Pace

April 30, 2021October 14, 2018 by Michael Coates

The 2019 Jaguar I-Pace is a Jaguar first and an electric car second. Ensconced inside the leather- and metallic-filled interior of the I-Pace, there’s no clear hint of its all-electric powertrain.

Road Test: 2018 Mazda MX-5 Miata Club

March 14, 2019October 9, 2018 by John Faulkner

The 2018 Mazda MX-5 Miata Club has superior performance and is a blast to drive. You will enjoy tossing around this lightweight convertible sports car knowing it is by far the lowest priced two-seat, rear-wheel drive convertible on the market, therefore offering the most topless fun for the money.

March 14, 2019October 6, 2018 by John Faulkner

Chevrolet thought it would be fun (and they were right!) to invite automotive journalists to an autocross course in Southern California, to demonstrate that the 2018 Bolt is more than just a commuter and around-town compact.

Road Test: 2018 Volkswagen Beetle 2.0T Coast

March 14, 2019October 3, 2018 by John Faulkner

The 2018 Volkswagen Beetle Coast is as fun to drive as it looks. It is peppy, sips fuel, hauls most of your stuff with the rear seat folded flat, has excellent visibility for the driver, and looks cool in the process.
