Well, here I go with my best objective look at my 10-month-old Chevrolet Volt and how it’s worked in my life.

As the 2019 Chevrolet Bolt stands, it is a reasonable BEV, whose number one advantage when it was new three years ago, was its range of 255 miles city or 217-highway miles with what was a respectable class-leading EPA rating of 238-miles range.
With unbeatable performance for the price, the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51 Coupe is built to be driven. Whether this is hard and aggressive through corners in a spirited manner, or highway cruising and getting 30+ mpg, the Stingray doesn’t sacrifice anywhere or lack anything.
After two years, the three things that stand out about my Chevrolet Bolt EV are: 1. It’s done exactly what I wanted, with virtually no problems, 2. Time has flown, and 3. I really do love my car.
If you drive less than 50 miles a day and charge regularly, the 2019 Chevrolet Volt is a great choice for all-electric driving, with the option to take off wherever you want using the gasoline range extender.
With numbers like that, it really shouldn’t be a surprise that GM would end the Chevrolet Volt’s production on March 1, 2019. We are sad to see it go.
